16 Neptune Project Ron Tanasichuk, DFO Nanaimo The NEPTUNE project is a pioneering oceanographic observing network that gives oceanographers and biologists the eyes to see what is happening in the ocean. It is installed off the southwest coast of Vancouver Island and will be collecting data 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for the next 25 years. Ron Tanasichuk, will describe NEPTUNE and what we can learn from it.
