||Aquatic & Riparian Invasive Species
||Ernie Sellentin, Project Coordinator with the CIPC
||This workshop will present information on how to identify, prevent and / or manage invasive plant species that are affecting our aquatic ecosystems. Invasive species are known to be the 2nd most significant threat to biodiversity after habitat loss. Invasive plants will often form dense monocultures,outcompeting the native vegetation. Learning to recognize these invasive plants is an important step in preventing and controlling their establishment in riparian and aquatic settings.
